Squads for Fev v Dewsbury (pre-season)

 

Fev and Dewsbury have both announced their squads for Sunday's pre-season friendly.

Notes: 

Thomas Smith played for Yorkshire Academy in 2023.

We have been unable to find out anything about George Lauer.

We guess that Joe Abson is also a trialist. Last year he played for Normanton Knights and in 2022 he was playing for Castleford Tigers reserves.

Notes: 

Interesting that both the Dewsbury coach and captain are former Fev players.

Jamie Field is NOT the player who used to play for Fev but another player with the same name. Our former player, Jamie Field, is now 47 years old!

We are guessing that Jack Briggs is the player who played for Oxford in 2014 but we don't actually know that.

Dom Newton played for Oldham in 2022 and 2023.
