We gave you two groups of clubs and asked you what the clubs in each group have in common.

A)

These are all the clubs who have won the Challenge Cup.

B)

These are the clubs who, following the inauguration of Super League in 1996, have been 'elevated' to the competition. The dates in the table below are the dates when they entered the Super League. Those shown in red are the ones who gained entry by winning their promotion on the field.

n.b. It is our usual practice when listing club names to use the most recent names of the clubs. In some cases the clubs were using different names when they qualified to be members of these groups.
