The significance of Sunday's match: A fevnut special

Fev v London Broncos: The Big Significance

The two Championship games played on Friday (York beating Halifax) and Saturday (Toulouse beating Barrow) have opened up a big opportunity for Fev but to take advantage we must win against London Broncos.

Here is the Championship Table as it stands on Saturday night.

As you can see, if we win tomorrow, we go up to 5th place.

If Doncaster beat Batley (which seems likely) they will then go up to 6th place and both Barrow and Halifax will drop out of the play-off positions.

BUT, if we were to lose to London and Doncaster beat Batley we would drop back down to 8th place with Doncaster 5th, Halifax 6th and Barrow 7th.

It’s fevnut’s 79th birthday on Sunday and the best present would be a convincing win. Players please take note!

Fev have made it into the Championship play-offs for 5 seasons in a row. For much of this season it was looking as if that sequence would be broken but winning against London would give us a good chance of making it 6 in a row.
