Have a guess at the combined distance they were born from Post Office Road! N.B. Please do not write the answers in by using 'reply' on facebook or 'quote' on Fev Fans page of TotalRL.com. We have been told by some readers that doing so spoils enjoyment of working them out for themselves. We will provide you all with the answers next week! If you wish to submit an answer before we reveal them officially you can do so via Facebook 'private message' and we will respond to tell you whether you have got it correct.

We gave you photos of a mythical Fev team made up of players who had all made at least 280 appearances for Rovers and asked you to try and name them. Here is the team with the names. We have also included their appearances (in red) and their Fev Heritage numbers (in blue). We didn't include any players from the 'summer era' but there are five who made over 250 appearances: Stuart Dickens (372); Deryck Fox (353); Ian Hardman (281); Steve Dooler (270); James Lockwood (267). The absolute record for Fev appearances belongs to Jim Denton (440).

For this week we thought we would make up a team from those players who have played at least 300 games for Fev. With players making so many appearances it was inevitable that they would have played in several positions but we have selected them based upon the position they played most often. However we hit a problem! Although there are 23 Fev players who made more than 300 appearances only one of those played second row as their main position so we had to do a bit of a tweak and changed it to selecting from the 28 who played more than 280 games. So here is our team, and the question is how many of them you can identify from their photo? N.B.    We gave you two groups of clubs and asked you what the clubs in each group have in common. A) These are all the clubs who have won the Challenge Cup. B) These are the clubs who, following the inauguration of Super League in 1996, have been 'elevated' to the competition. The dates in the table below are the dates when they entered the Super League. Those shown in red are the ones who gained entry by winning their promotion on the field. n.b. It is our usual practice when listing club names to use the most recent names of the clubs. In some cases the clubs were using different names when they qualified to be members of these groups.

We posted this list of past and present clubs and asked what they have in common that distinguishes them from all other clubs. n.b. It is our usual practice when listing club names to use the most recent names of current clubs. These are the clubs, through Rugby League's history from 1895 to the present day, that have finished the season at the top of the league table. For many years there was only one division but whenever there has been more than one we have only included the club finishing at the head of the top division. Note: There have been a few seasons when there were separate Lancashire and Yorkshire leagues. We combined them using the 'Win Percentage' method to produce an overall winner.

Always difficult at this time of year and especially when we have so many new players. To assist we have produced a chart listing the positions and the players that could play there. We have made no attempt to rank them, they are listed in alphabetical order.
